BOOK
WAY MARKERS
Part of a lifelong journey searching for Wales, the photographs in Way Markers document landmarks at a particular time and place - they also tell a story of discovery and belonging. Taken in west Wales between 2016 – 2026, they are way markers, guiding the photographer on his journey through a vague terrain. Photography extends beyond its most basic documenting capacity to become a multifaceted mode of exploration, helping to establish a personal sense of place found at the intersections of history, memory and imagination.
Includes photographs and an essay relating to the making of photographs in west Wales.
